The BBC Striders is a group of Belleville area runners and walkers of all ages and abilities with a common interest in having fun and staying fit. We are also members of the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA).

The group was founded in 1988 by Patty LaCross and has been active in the local community, hosting the Belleville Strawberry Festival Run & Walk and the Wayne County Fair Run & Walk in the past. The Striders currently are actively involved in the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life. Members also participate in a number of local, state and national running and walking events.

The group meets at Belleville High School Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. and Saturday mornings at 8 a.m. to run or walk. Walkers and runners of all ages and abilities are always welcome to join us. See our "About Us" page for more details.

Please note: Due to the construction at the high school, we have been meeting in St. Anthony's parking lot on the west side of the church, nearest the high school.
