Striding to Fight Cancer! ~ Relay For Life of Belleville 2008
On Saturday and Sunday, April 30 and May 1, 2011, the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life of Belleville was held at Quirk Park. This 24 hour event is a time of celebration, remembrance and hope as we honor cancer survivors, remember those we have lost to this horrible disease and raise money to fight cancer through education, support and research. The BBC Striders participated as a club for the seventh straight year in 2011 as we "Stride to Fight Cancer!" For the fourth consecutive year, we were also the top fundraising team at our Belleville Relay, bringing in nearly $12,000 in the fight against cancer.
Our club has been touched by cancer far too many times and once again we CELEBRATE the lives of those who have battled cancer, REMEMBER loved ones lost to the disease and FIGHT BACK by making a commitment to save lives by taking up the fight against cancer. In 2010 we also celebrated "More Birthdays" and a SmokeFree Michigan!

BBC Strider Relay For Life/Bark For Life team web page. On Saturday, October 23, 2010, we held our second Bark For Life at Riggs Park where we honored our canine "Best Friends" for their care giving qualities with all proceeds going to our Relay For Life of Belleville!
Our third Bark For Life will be held at Riggs Park on Saturday, October 29th ~
