Over 70 runners and walkers of all ages participated in the first Van Buren Public Schools Education Foundation Fun Run and Walk. The one mile course ran down Main Street prior to the annual Belleville Christmas Parade. The event raised just over $500 for the Foundation.
First Male Finisher: Chad Osier, 5:34
First Female Finisher: Ryann Patton, age 13, 7:43
Youngest Finisher: James Hagerman, age 5
Oldest Finisher: Art Mackie
Jingliest Participant: Meghan Patton
Most Festive Participant: Alyse Hammond
BHS grad Chad Osier finished first in the 1 Mile Run in 5:34
